The Noob Spearo Leadership Retreat is a one-week, immersive training experience designed for spearos who feel the call to step up—whether as an Assistant Instructor, Instructor, or Senior Instructor, or simply as someone who wants to mentor others with confidence, safety, and clarity.

Across seven packed days, you’ll train, dive and hang out with the Noob Spearo team, top-tier instructors, and a tight crew of peers who share your passion for doing things the right way—safe, sustainable, frothy.

You’ll have access to optional PADI Freediving courses (Advanced, Master, and Instructor level), structured leadership coaching, scenario-based safety training, and hands-on workshops designed to sharpen not only your skills, but your ability to teach those skills.

This retreat is where strong watermen and waterwomen learn how to become strong leaders.

There is high likelihood of ongoing paid and unpaid opportunities for those who have the right values (no ego, full froth) who can align with the vision, possess leadership qualities and a strong desire to serve people interested in the spearfishing lifestyle.

What You’ll Experience

• Instructor Pathway Training:
  Build the skills, mindset, and teaching frameworks used by high-impact spearfishing instructors all over the world.

• PADI Freediving Courses (Optional):
  Advance your certification right through to Instructor level, supported by experienced coaches.

• Leadership & Mentorship Workshops:
  Learn how to mentor spearos, build trust, manage group dynamics, and pass on knowledge effectively and safely.

• Real-World Scenario Drills:
  Critical thinking and safety response training to prepare you for real events, not just theory.

• Daily Spearfishing Missions:
  Dive with other high-level spearos and Noob Spearo team members—refining technique, mindset, strategy and teamwork.

• Community & Connection:
  Recharge around the table each night with like-minded leaders who care deeply about the sport and its future.
